School Readiness (Child Care Assistance)

Miami-Dade's child care subsidy for working families, paid to participating private and church-run centers and schools.

School Readiness is administered locally by the Early Learning Coalition of Miami-Dade/Monroe and funded through the state and the federal Child Care and Development Fund.

For families with a kindergartener on the Private School Scholarship and a toddler at the same church, School Readiness often covers the toddler. Ask the school whether it is a School Readiness provider.

How to stack it

School Readiness (Child Care Assistance) can usually be combined with school-based tuition assistance and at least one other source on this site. Complete the funding check and an advisor will map the full stack for your child.
